Judaism at the Speed of Technological Change

  • Lehrhaus 425 Washington Street Somerville, MA 02143 USA (map)

With more than 3000 years of history, it's easy for Jews to get caught up in their own past. But what do we need to do to prepare Judaism for the future, and how do we make space for dreaming about the future when short-term existential threats are so real? How do we ensure that Jewish leaders are sufficiently conversant in the technologies that are reshaping human existence? In partnership with SAPIR: Ideas for a Thriving Jewish Future, please join us for a conversation with David Zvi Kalman and Josh Foer, moderated by SAPIR Associate Editor Felicia Herman, who will explore what it means for Judaism to remain a relevant, adaptable moral force today and far into the future. You can subscribe to the SAPIR newsletter here.
