Writing Workshop: Inspiring Creativity through Jewish Literature

  • Lehrhaus 425 Washington Street Somerville, MA 02143 USA (map)

Calling all creative writers! In this class, we’ll be using Nicole Krauss’ 2014 novel The History of Love to inspire our own writing practice. This class will be a combination of reading, discussion, writing, and sharing what we write. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen! *Note: you do not need to read the novel in order to attend the class.*

Naomi Bilmes currently teaches high school English at Gann Academy. Her favorite courses to teach are Modern Jewish Literature and Creative Writing. Naomi believes that anyone can be a writer: you just have to sit down and write. She lives in Somerville.
