Three-Part Series: Introduction to American Mah Jongg, Part 1

This hands-on class consists of the fundamentals of American Mah Jongg. We will learn everything from the tiles and their functions to the Charleston, and the National Mah Jongg League rules. NO Mah Jongg experience or knowledge is required. Practice Cards and sets will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own card if they have one.

Dani Carrus, a lifelong game enthusiast, who has been playing and teaching Mah Jongg for many years. She is both a formal and experiential Jewish Educator who has worked at a plethora of Jewish institutions. Originally from a small town in New Hampshire, Dani now calls the Boston area her home.
