Shabbos Kestenbaum is a Harvard graduate student researching the intersections of contemporary Jewish life and public policy. Originally from the Bronx, Shabbos spent two years studying Religious philosophy, Talmudic law, and Jewish ethics at Yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem, Israel. Shabbos has spent the last few months immersed in Ukrainian refugee relief work centered in Krakow and Lviv and the resurgence of Jewish life in Poland.
