A hands on introduction to the ancient art of Hebrew calligraphy. Participants will become familiar with the materials, learn some of the laws which make kosher letters, and practice writing with quill on parchment.

At kiddish after his bar mitzvah, Eli asked the Rabbi if he could come back and do it all again next week! Ever since then, he has had a love for learning and sharing Torah. Through lots of visual imagination and clever use of metaphor, Eli has a knack for making the complicated seem simple and for bringing the texts of our tradition to life.
