Repentance, Prayer, and Charity: Three Classes for the High Holidays

The high holiday liturgy tells us that three things mitigate the “badness” of the decree: repentance, prayer, and charity. In this three part series, we will take a look each of these aspects in preparation for the coming Days of Awe.

Sessions will compliment each other, but each will stand on its own. Come for one, two, or all three. No prior knowledge or text skills necessary.

Classes are open to all backgrounds and levels. Come to one session or to all three.

Taught by Eli Witkin

Eli is a career educator. He has worked in camps across the Jewish spectrum, guided backcountry wilderness experiences, and served as a high school Judaics teacher. Eli is a proud alum of both Pardes and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He currently works at Gann Academy where he helps run the farm program and teaches scribal arts.
