This class discusses the history of Jews in Persia and modern-day Iran and the exodus of Jews from Iran following the Islamic Revolution. In preparation for the holiday of Purim we will learn about Persian Jewish women of note, who have led interesting lives and gone against the grain, in the spirit of Queen Esther.
