Come hear stories of Hasidic Rebbes who endured the Holocaust, Hasidm who retained their religious identity in the camps, and learn how Hasidic dynasties rationalized their relationship with God after the war.

Shabbos Kestenbaum just graduated from the Harvard Divinity School, where his research was at the intersections of contemporary Jewish life and public policy. Originally from the Bronx, Shabbos spent two years studying Religious philosophy, Talmudic law, and Jewish ethics at Yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem, Israel. Shabbos has spent the last few months immersed in Ukrainian refugee relief work centered in Krakow and Lviv and the resurgence of Jewish life in Poland.
