Good and Mad?: Anger in the Talmud

How did the rabbis of the Talmud experience, and relate to, their own feelings of rage? How did they describe anger, and what did they prescribe in response? Through exploring passages in the Talmud that depict angry sages and an angry God, we’ll see what we might learn about the timeless challenge of anger and its aftermath when we bring our own experiences in conversation with our ancestors’.
